A few things you might want to know.
Artwork, garments, colours and print placement can get confusing. These are the questions we expect customers to ask most often.
What is DTF printing?
DTF stands for Direct-to-Film. The artwork is printed onto specialised transfer film and then applied to the garment using controlled heat and pressure.
Is DTF suitable for full-colour artwork?
Yes. DTF is particularly useful for colourful logos, illustrations, text and designs containing multiple colours or fine details.
Can I bring my own clothing?
Yes. You can supply your own garments for printing. We’ll first check whether the garment and fabric are suitable for the requested application.
Can Klaasic Prints supply the clothing?
Yes. You can choose clothing from the Klaasic Prints shop and request DTF printing as part of your order.
What type of artwork should I send?
Send the highest-quality version of your design available. Transparent PNG files and vector artwork are especially useful, but you can also submit JPG, PDF, SVG, AI or EPS files.
What if my artwork isn’t ready yet?
You can still send your printing request. Explain what you’re trying to create and we’ll advise you on what is needed before the order goes to print.
Where can my design be placed?
Common placements include the left chest, centre front, full front, upper back, full back and sleeves. Placement will depend on the garment, artwork and size of the requested print.
How should I care for DTF-printed clothing?
Wash printed garments inside out, use cool water, avoid bleach and avoid ironing directly over the printed area. Always follow the garment’s original care instructions as well.
