Vinyl + heat + pressure = your design on fabric.
Heat Transfer Vinyl, usually called HTV, is a garment decoration method where a design is cut from specialised vinyl material and transferred onto suitable fabric using controlled heat and pressure.
Because individual shapes, letters and numbers can be cut from the vinyl, HTV works particularly well for names, numbering, text, logos and clean graphic designs.

Not sure whether HTV is right for your project? Here’s what you need to know before sending your request.
What is Heat Transfer Vinyl?
Heat Transfer Vinyl, or HTV, uses specialised vinyl material that is cut into the required design and applied to suitable fabric using controlled heat and pressure.
What is HTV good for?
HTV works particularly well for names, numbers, lettering, simple logos, defined shapes and graphic elements. It is commonly used for teamwear, personalised clothing, uniforms and event apparel.
Can you put different names on each garment?
Yes. Personalisation is one of the useful applications of HTV. Individual names or numbers can be requested for different garments within an order.
Can I bring my own clothing?
Yes. You can supply your own garments. We’ll first assess the fabric and garment construction to determine whether they are suitable for the requested heat-transfer application.
Can Klaasic Prints supply the garments?
Yes. You can choose garments from the Klaasic Prints shop and request HTV printing as part of your order.
Can every logo be made with HTV?
Not necessarily. HTV works particularly well with clean shapes, lettering and defined artwork. Very detailed or complex full-colour designs may be better suited to another printing method such as DTF.
Can you print on the front and back?
Yes, where the garment allows it. You can request multiple print locations such as the chest, front, back or sleeve. Each placement will be reviewed as part of the order.
How should I wash HTV clothing?
Wash the garment inside out using cool water, avoid bleach and do not iron directly over the vinyl. Always follow the original garment’s care instructions as well.
Pick your garment. We’ll bring the heat.
